Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

My SMS Gateway ("we", "us", or "our") provides software that lets customers connect Android devices and SIM cards to send and manage SMS and OTP messages. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to users.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, organization or workspace details, login information, and subscription status. We also process technical information needed to operate the service, including device identifiers, Android device details, SIM slot information, IP addresses, API activity, webhook activity, timestamps, delivery states, and diagnostic logs.

When you use the platform to send messages, we process message-related data such as recipient phone numbers, message content, OTP request metadata, delivery status, and routing information. OTP codes are designed to be stored as secure hashes rather than displayed in the dashboard.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve My SMS Gateway; authenticate users; pair and manage gateway devices; process SMS and OTP jobs; deliver webhook events; measure plan usage; prevent abuse; troubleshoot failures; and provide customer support.

3. Payments and billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle. Paddle may collect and process billing information, payment details, tax information, and transaction data under its own privacy terms. My SMS Gateway does not need to store full payment-card details.

4. Service providers

We use infrastructure and service providers to operate the platform, including hosting, database, authentication, push-notification, logging, and payment services. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and our users.

5. Data retention

We retain account, usage, message, device, and billing-related records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and audit history, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and account status.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections, scoped API credentials, and server-side handling of sensitive service credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis and any required consent to upload phone numbers, send messages, or otherwise process personal information through My SMS Gateway. Customers should not use the service to send unlawful, deceptive, unsolicited, or abusive messages.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also request account closure. Some records may be retained where legally required or necessary for fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution.

9. International processing

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, legal requirements, or our data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
